JavaStudio is a feature which built on proven Eclipse IDE. First of all you need an Eclipse. If you already have an Eclipse IDE make sure it contains Eclipse Java EE packages.

If you dont have an Eclipse IDE please download it from here as seen below:

In case you need Java Environment, JavaStudio recommends Java 7 or higher for better compatibility. You can download and install Java Development Kit (JDK) 7 from here. Please use 64bit JDKs if you have a suitable CPU. No matter if you use 32bit environment.

Install Eclipse

After downloading of Eclipse IDE you need to extract it. JavExpress recommends extracting it to d:\eclipse on Windows Platforms, /Applications/eclipse on OSX Platforms, /home/user/eclipse on Linux Platforms.

Memory Settings

Please note that you need to edit memory, file encoding and language settings in order to work properly in Eclipse IDE. Edit your eclipse.ini from eclipse dir and add the following lines:

						-Duser.language=en
						-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8
						-Xms512M
						-Xmx1512M

Launch the Eclipse IDE.

Create Workspace

After launching the Eclipse IDE, it will ask you for a Workspace as seen below:

Enter an empty folder path to use as workspace. A workspace is the place that stores all of your Project files.

Install JavaStudio

Now you will install JavaStudio. In Eclipse IDE, go to Help > Install New Software as seen below:

Write http://dev.javastud.io:16530/javastudio to Work with field and press Enter/Return as seen below:

Security Credentials

Keep in mind that you should have a Serial Number with an e-mail address that registered to JavaStud.

Eclipse IDE will open a Login form. Enter the credentials that JavaStud sent to you with e-mail as seen below:

Now select JavaStudio and finish the installation as usual by Next and Next... When the download process completed Eclipse IDE will ask you for Security Confirmation. Click OK. This will be similar to:

Restart Eclipse

Now Eclipse IDE asks you for Restart to finish the installation. Click Yes to confirm as seen below:

After restart Eclipse IDE will ask you to select a workspace again. Just Click OK to use the last workspace.

Install GWT Plugins

If you dont have Google Plugins installed, you can install by go to Help > Install New Software as seen below:

Write http://storage.googleapis.com/gwt-eclipse-plugin/release to Work with field and press Enter/Return as seen below: Now select Google Plugin for Eclipse 4.x, JavaScript Debugger with Source Mapping Support then finish the installation as usual by Next and Next... When the download process completed Eclipse IDE will ask you for Security Confirmation. Click OK. This will be similar to:
